Method Planner (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• independent design and method planning of punching and forming tools, especially for sample production and prototype tools
• 
  
• independent creation of tool methods as a basis for tool calculation
• 
  
• development of strip layouts
• 
  
• preparation of requirement descriptions and specifications for operating equipment
• 
  
• development of solution proposals and comparison of variants as well as presentation of interim and final results
• 
  
• implementation of design optimizations on components and tools

Your profile

• a successfully completed degree with a technical orientation or a technician training, preferably in the fields of production process development, design engineering or mechanical engineering
• 
  
• experience in punching tool design and method planning
• 
  
• ideally experience in toolmaking, with punching tools and/or with plastic injection moulding processes
• 
  
• knowledge in forming simulation desirable
• 
  
• good knowledge of MS-Office and a CAD system (such as Solid Works)
• 
  
• very good German language skills
• 
  
• good level of English
•
